Over 50 fires were set by celebrating University of W. Virgina fans after their team advanced to the elite 8 of the NCAA basketball tournament on Thursday.
Unreported by the politically correct press is that most of those were just Jeb and Mammie Yokum firing up the still to celebrate dem Mountaineers winning one of them basketball games.
Remember Moonshinin, stumpjumpin, hogcallin, sisterdatin, teethlackin W. Virginia fans, moderation with the moonshine.

Separately, the NCAA tournament committee's ineptitude was born out when the two #1 seeds who did not deserve said seeds, Duke and Washington were folded spindled and mutilated by better teams. Michigan State and Louisville who inexplicably were badly seeded at least 2 seeds below their deserved spots took care of the two overrated institutions. And for the second year in a row, I must point out that Coack K of Duke is wearing a Hitler style haircut. Good think Duke isn't the brown devils. I'd hate to see coach K in a brown suit.
