Stuffing the Channel
It's typical of software companies that towards the end of a quarter they send a lot of product to their distributors. They are able to show it as a sale and make the quarterly figures look good. Then the distributor returns the unsold merchandise at a later date.
Story today has Krispy Kreme stuffing the channel with donuts.
So apparently Krispy Kreme is getting old meldy donuts returned to them at a later date.
In a related story there's a shortage of food in the Tsunami areas.
Can't we put these two stories together?
Is there anybody who hasn't been so drunk that they ate a stale donut? My point is made.
