Howard Dean said today that the standard of living post Saddam in Iraq is much worse. Leaving aside the fact that the value of the Iraqi currency is zooming, let's just thing about Monty Hall with the Iraqis.
Ok, you can have 100 more goats for your herd but we're going to take off the ears of all your children with rusty knives.
Or we can bring in a new government with no ears being cut off. You may lose a few goats though. Probably not but maybe.
